Kenmore’s Alan Youngson – veteran Director, Actor and Playwright has creatively spent the last 6 months devising, co-writing and rehearsing LAUGH-A-LOT – a 90 minute clever, cheeky comedy revue show !
Our cast would really appreciateEXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST from CLUB ORGANISERS willing to make a group booking to attend and support our versatile and mature performers (singer Joy Darmody; actor/muso Paula White; parody performer, Ian Ogle and character actor / director Alan Youngson).
Laugh out Loud at this theatrically live and jovial journey through tantalising song and dance routines (Burlesque, Belly Dance and Broadway); topical skits Medical Misunderstandings, Seniors IQ Test and What Religion is your Bra ?) plus comic characters (Jock, Bazza, Mavis and Gertie).
After these Lockdowns, our experienced performers need audiences aged 50 to 90 years old who are keen to attend live shows and embrace “Laughter which is still the world’s best and most needed medicine” because it makes people feel good – long after the laughter has subsided. However, WE ARE KEEN TO TOUR THE SHOW IN late 2021 and during 2022 Director Alan Youngson would love to hear from SUITABLY AIR CONDITIONED VENUES – PREFERABLY THEATRES – in Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Gold and Sunshine Coasts – looking for a JOINT VENTURE. The requirements are as follows: able to seat at least 100 patrons per performance, preferably more: a raised stage: 1-1.5m height x 6-8m wide and 4-5m deep: curtained wings; 2 dressing rooms; modern equipment and operators for audio and lighting, av projection /screen or cyclorama. – plus have refreshments for sale.
